| Nice race. Well organized. Cute area. |
| |
| Surprisingly scenic course, and Providence is much nicer than I remembered. A few hills, but nothing too challenging. Good support. |
| |
| Great race. Course was beautiful with a few hills and great support. Race starts in downtown with many hotels having easy access to start line. |
| |
| Some extreme up and downhills. |
| |
| nice race in a beautiful city. Felt a little sick around mile 11 so backed off but still was a P.R. Very happy |
| |
| This was a great race. Nice course & nice volunteers. A little too warm for me but you can't control the weather. Nice city. |
| |
| The course itself was fine. First time I have ever felt sick at the end of a race. Did enjoy touring the area before the race! |
| |
| i'm still hanging in there this was number 5, the weather was hot and the course for me was ok. |
| |
| Warm day! Lots of enthusiastic runners! Kinda flat & kinda rolling! Great city to visit! Go to Federal Hill for pasta! |
| |
| Very nice, diverse course - part city and part country. Strangest part was running across a bridge in the city - single file! |
| |
| I liked the course, but parts of Providence are not very nice. Great post race food - hot pizza! Finishing medal could have been nicer. |
| |
| Race Walked, cloudy, overcast, 65 degrees. Long big hill at mile 6. Variety of scenery- riverwalk, typical New England homes, hills, flats. Be sure and visit WaterFire downtown at night. Lots of history, museums, Brown Univ. |
| |
| Providence is a fun city to visit, lots of history to explore. Packet pick-up and the start/finish were very convenient to all downtown hotels. As for the race, I especially liked running along the bike path near the water. |
| |
| Well organized race with plenty of good eats (bananas, pizza, etc.) at the end as well as drinks throughout the race. Not a lot of crowd support along most of the route, and had to run almost single file across a bridge near the end. Very easy to park and get in/out of the city - sounds like the route changed from its inaugural year. |
| |
| Interesting sights along the course. Not enough support for the back of the pack. Start was disorganized. There weren't enough buses to ferry runners to the start area. |
| |
| Nice course. Last shuttle bus got to the race late. |
| |
| This was a nice city-and-country race, in a drizzle- perfect racing conditions. It had rolling small hills, but mostly flat with a sweet downhill trend the last 3 miles. It went thru industrial neighboorhoods, then along river park, into classy residential neighboorhoods, and finished to well-supporting crowds in downtown, complete with cobblestone streets. |
| |
| Considering this was the inaugural race, I thought it was well organized. Mile markers, plenty of helpful volunteers, and great post-race food/refreshments. Very up-and-down hilly, including a killer hill from mile 8 to 9. |
| |
| the course was fine. I was sick. Walked for the last few miles |
