Description The challenging Historic Half course gives runners a scenic tour of Fredericksburg, Virginia
2010
Jean Werkheiser Very well organized, challenging course(Looong hill at mile 10 was awful), great spectator support.
Time:02:36

Steve Bichler A very tough course...It is very hilly, so be prepared. Otherwise probably the best organized race I've run. The USMC does it very well
Time:01:58

Jody Dixon Terrific race! The hill @ Mile 10 kicked my butt. Never seen such a crowded 1/2. Only 5,000+ finishers but still dodging people @ Mile 8. Wonderful support. Marines everywhere!
Time:02:12

Tom Hutmacher Very well organized. Beautiful course with gradual hills. I was very slow, but enjoyed the course.
Time:02:16

Kathy Sirois Not my best time-feeling some stomach distress. Race was hilly and a hot day, so challenging. They gave us bibs that we were suppose to plant after, but they fell apart on the run. Rest was all good!
Time:02:07

2009
David Rumley The rain sucked
Time:01:55

Karen Myers Pouring pouring rain but otherwise a well organized and supported race. Just be ready for some hills!
Time:01:37

David DeHart Nice course through historic Fredricksburg, VA. Very well organized.
Time:02:25

Rita DeHart Great run through the Fredricksburg area. Well organized.
Time:03:28

2008
David DeHart Great run through the Fredricksburg area. Well organized.
Time:03:01

Rita DeHart Great run through the Fredricksburg area. Well organized.
Time:03:00

Leah Connor A race on my birthday! Whoo hoo! But yikes there is a major hill towards the end.
Time:01:50

Suzanne Dolan Nice course. Not too much crowd support.
Time:02:24

Kevin Forner The Marine Corp and the city of Fredericksburg did a really good job of putting this race together. Nice course, well-supported by both the staff and the citizens. The first third was kinda rolling, the middle third is relatively flat, and the final third is mostly uphill...mile 11 (I think) was a big climb that killed me.
Time:01:53

2007
Carol Gosliln It was a good course. Didn't care for the rolling hills.
Time:02:30

2006
Kathy Sirois The second year I have run this race and just love it. They changed the route, but still 2 hills after mile 9. I ran a pr and will go back next year
