| good course. walker/runner friendly. nice staff/volunteer. easy parking. well organized. |
| |
| This was the most fun race I have ever run!!! And the swag was great! |
| |
| Spectators are amazing! Course was spot on, the runners ruined the race for me, disrespect during the national anthem, pushing to get to the front, walking in the middle of the street, nearly knocked over 3 times by runners cutting in from of me during the race. |
| |
| Awesome Race. Highly Recommended. |
| |
| Great community support! Flat equals fast here.Well organized. |
| |
| Great run, even better volunteers. |
| |
| Great race, organization, support, fans and town! Don't miss this one-flat & fast. |
| |
| Under very dreary, muggy conditions, this was a lagre, flat, & fun race, with the loudest supporters I've ever encountered! Lots of music too including my fav the bagpipes! The medal & shirt were awesome as was the post-race food! Don't forget to look up at huge jumbotron to watch yourself finish in the Fargodome...I knew it was there & I did! |
| |
| The crowd support was spectactular. NYFD Matt Long was the speaker. Fargodome a little crowded at the finish. Plenty of water and portapotties. Nice to be inside the Dome before and after the race. |
| |
| This was a good course. |
| |
| Great! |
| |
| Fun race (despite the pouring rain the first half) but it's the few hills are much steeper than I was told. (Note: Fargo is NOT that flat.) The only thing I didn't like is running into the dome at the end; a bit too congested at the finish. |
| |
| Not a whole lot to do in Fargo, but they certainly put on a great race. A lot of crowd support through the whole course. Nice finisher's medal, but I found it inappropriate that there was a bible verse inscribed on the back. |
| |
| Great crowd support and pre/post race activities. Some mild hills but otherwise a reasonable race. Loved the tech shirt and medal. |
| |
| Flat course. Friendly town with unbelievable support. Almost everyone on plane ran race and wore shirt and or medal. |
| |
| Nice crowd support. Flat course. Good organization. |
| |
| PR full marathon. Flat course, good swag and the best fans I've ever experienced. Liked the finish in the Fargo dome as well. 4 stars. |
| |
| Have done the marathon relay, 1/2 marathon, marathon and 5k. Loved them all. |
| |
| It is a nice flat and fast course |
| |
| This is a great race, well organized, flat course, with the best community support I have ever seen; there were people cheering on every single block for 13.1 miles! |
| |
| Cloudy and cool-a great day to race. Nice flat course with wonderful crowd support. I will return |
| |
| Excellent fan support for the half. |
| |
| Cool day. Very well organized race. Flat course. Very nice medal!!! |
| |
| a bit breezy, but mild. Nice music along course. |
| |
| People and race were great again. Good weather. They have attracted enough people now, having problems at the start, too many in a small space. |
| |
| water stop at mile 12 was too much fun..I blew my PR..Great Pirate |
| |
| Was terrified when on the drive to Fargo the day before the race, I saw temp readings in my car up to 88! Nice hailstorm the night before brought fabulous cloudy, windy 40s for the race. LOVED IT, great support on the course! |
| |
| Great race! The weather was cool, the crowds were fun and the dome was a neat touch. Great medal, will do this one again. |
| |
| Nice race! Cool weather this year! Good crowd and support. Nice to run inside the dome to finish! |
| |
| Overall, I liked it alot. The start and finish at the Fargodome was nice, he crowd support and atmosphere was great, and it was a nice flat course. The weather could have been better, and the start was way too crowded along the narrow streets. |
| |
| A flat, fast course through Fargo. Very well organized with lots of support by the organizers and lots of enthusiasm from spectators along the route. Lots of cowbells! The temperature was lowered from the 80s to the 40s after a spectacular thunderstorm the night before the race. It was still windy! |
| |
| This is a very well organized race. There is great community support. The medals are awesome. |
| |
| This was a great race. Weather was slightly cold and nice for running. somewhat flat course, everything was well organized. Lots of crowd support along the course. The town really supports this race. The people were very friendly. |
| |
| Nice and cold (could have done without the wind though) after storms moved through Friday night. Flat course, excellent medal and the race is incredibly supported by the community. This is a definite top 10 half marathon event and top 20 overall! |
| |
| Friendly. Finished at Fargo-dome. Technical long shirt for half; nice medal -- colorful and same style as poster. Nice course. |
| |
| It was a great race, for me after doing one last month. Crowds were great didn't like the wind and cold. |
| |
| Crowds were inspirational. The weather was cooler than I like. I liked the flat course. |
| |
| I was expecting a flat fast PR setting course-not what I expected. The winds were terrential. Red River Park is beautiful and the supportive fans on the sidelines were inspirational. I especially love the indoor finish. Uf-Dah!!! |
| |
| I enjoyed this race. The crowds were great. The weather was a bit cool. |
| |
| Awesome. Great crowds of people all along the race!! Lots of enthusiasm! The finish was excellent, inside the Fargodome (stadium)!! |
| |
| A great race. I did the full last year - the course was better this year. Starting and finishing at the Fargodome alleviated the parking problem from last year. Also finishing inside the dome was pretty sweet. And to the runner thought it was windy this year - this is North Dakota. We have wind. Last year we ran INTO a 25 mile an hour head wind for about 20 miles. Now that was brutal. |
| |
| Great running weather (50,cloudy),nice spectator crowds along route, good variety (streets, bike paths, downtown, residential, parks). Lots of stations. Found several painted bison. End in the Fargodome a bit crowded with medals, finisher shirts and snacks bunched together but I would do this one again!! Had a great time with a high school runner buddy! |
| |
| Very windy. Darn right brutal! However this race has EXCELLENT community support. A good handful of people at every neighborhood. The volunteers were plentiful too. |
| |
| It was a great race!! Kind of cold but good crowd support! I hope to run this race each year since I live here. Hopefully the weather will be better next year. |
| |
| Cold, snowy, windy and wet, but managed well. Awesome crowd at the finish. Had a GREAT post race set up to stretch, get warm, meet people and food! |
| |
| I did this race (5/14/05) in chilly, wet windy conditions. The spectators turned out in full force on a cold morning better than many other races. The park (Lindenwood Park) was one of the highlights of this race. The medal was very good as it was colorful. |
| |
| Just ran it (2005) -- very well organized race! The course is mostly flat, but that hill just past mile 12 was a little tough in the wind. Nice run in downtown and through the neighborhoods of South Fargo, plus a few miles through a lovely park by the Red River and a little trip to Moorhead, MN. Weather was totally wet/cold/windy, but in spite of that, the residents came out and very enthusiastically cheered for us. Some had little lawn parties in front of their homes, and a few even had water tables set up. Well done. |
