| This race is wonderful, lots of people, friendly and just helpful |
| |
| Great support from the community! Loved running through the college campus down fraternity row having 20-something boys offer me beer out of milk jugs! :-) |
| |
| Fantasitic scenery in and around Philly. One of the best organized starts I have experienced. Got lucky with the beautiful weather - 50 and sunny. Watch for the hill after mile 9! |
| |
| I enjoyed the course, weather was not bad. I was a bit let down because I was supposed to do the full and went in early because I had knee pain but I would still do it again! |
| |
| I've run this race twice and I really enjoy running through Philly! |
| |
| Cold! But I liked the race. Good course but the potential cold weather may keep me from coming back for a November race. I'd recommend, but expect the cold and pack some hand warmers! |
| |
| It was a cold day, which was not too bad until the water on the road at the water stops started to freeze making it an ice skating rink. There were not enought port-a-potties at the start area so we started a bit late which was not too bad since it was very crowded. Overall I was not impressed but we met friends from NY there so it was a fun trip before and after. |
| |
| Ran this race with a friend who wanted to break two hours. Well, we were right on pace at 9.5 miles until he got tired. 30 degree temps caused the water to freeze on the roadway by the water stops. Saw two people go down hard. Maybe next year they can put a few dollars towards rock salt. Ok course, we had more fun with our friends pre race and post race hanging out. One and done for us on this race. |

| Nice medal. Cool tech shirt. Nice course, not flat. Limited water stops with not enough tables and volunteers. Hot soup at the finish. |
| |
| I was so slow, I got to see the male marathon winner finish feet away from me. That was awesome :) |
| |
| good - cold - not flat! I placed in my age group so I loved that. |
| |
| Not worth what I paid for the entry fee. Course was good, plenty of water stops. There was a few hills. |
| |
| they said flat and fast wrong there were some hills. it was cold but a good race for me. |
| |
| I hate running hills or grades so I wasnt happy to see hills at mile 7 and 9. The race is promoted as flat and fast. Would prefer to see an elevation chart so I can judge for myself and see the inclines. Race was well organized yet I thought the food and giveaways after the race could have been better.
I havent seen chicken broth handed out after a race before. Nice shirt & medal. |

| Weather was cold (good) and windy/rainy at times (not so good). Nice course, crowded for first few miles, but eventually spread out. One hill of note around mile 9.5, but complemented by nice downhill around mile 10.5. Ran the Rocky stairs afterwards! Great long sleeved technical race shirt and nice medal. Also did the Run with the Champions 4-mile warmup run the previous day -- nice preview of the last couple miles of the course. |
| |
| Nice, well-organized race. A little hilly in the middle, but nothing significant. Well supported by the community. Good shirt and medal. As has been noted, the marathon and half start at the same time and converge immediately, which makes for a lot of traffic. |
| |
| Much better organized this year. Marathoners and halfers start together so it's very crowded. Philly is a great city, good crowd support. Great volunteers. FABULOUS medal. Not great give aways and post race activities for the price. |
| |
| Great long sleeved tech shirt! Loved the historic running tour- great place to visit. |
| |
| Nice course and wonderful crowd support |
| |
| A great race. Must do. Finishing at the Rocky staue was a lot of fun. |
| |
| Disorganized, confused start, much more hilly than advertised, cold day, only saving grace was VIP tent with food and warmth |
| |
| The expo and start were confusing, but the race was well supported on the course! Enjoyed it! |
| |
| A busy race, so the start was crazy. Since it is run in town, there were lots of great spectators, some of whom really helped you up that killer hill at mile 10! |

| |
