The course is USATF certified and will start and finish near historic downtown Charlottesville, Virginia then traverse some of the most scenic and historic areas on the East Coast. Proceeding out of Charlottesville, you will run past many historic sites including Thomas Jefferson's Rotunda, located at the University of Virginia.

Holy Crap!! A true test of humility. I did not even come close to training well enough for the hills. And I am slow to begin with. The run was awesome except for that Big Momma hill about 5.5. miles out. The run back down was much nicer. Definetly worth doing.
