The course starts and finishes in Sun Valley Village on the spacious grass field in front of the Sun Valley Pavilion. USATF certified.

beautiful course, great staff/volunteer. walker friendly. there was a parade on the same day. the last mile overlap with parade was a surprise and you had to run because there are thousands of people there watching you.

Small and beautiful race. The mountains and rolling hills were amazing! Very scenic run. It was a grueling course, given that I'm not use to the altitude, highest elevation was at 6152. *Great massage afterwards* Talked to several runners afterwards and their time was 15-20 mins longer because of the altitude. Once hearing this, I didn't feel so bad.

Absolutely beautiful location. The elevation was very tough. I train at 1,000 feet elevation and Sun Valley is at 6,000 feet elevation. Without a doubt the most grueling half I have completed. Well managed race. I stayed at the Sun Valley Lodge and would recommend if you make the trip. The race starts behind the lodge.
