The course begins and ends in Vets Park, behind the Ice Arena (636 E 66th St), covers very flat terrain, and passes through shaded residential neighborhoods, past neighborhood park, and through three natural areas: Wood Lake, Richfield Lake, and Vets Park. The half marathon course is certified by the USATF (MN08032.RR)

Water stops the same as last year, I still think they need to space them out better. Only two stops in the first 6+ miles with 3+ miles between the first and second stops - then 5 or 6 in the second half of the race. Otherwise, great race! Couldn't have asked for better weather. 3 minute PR!

A very nice race - I liked that they were so "green". Love the reusable bag and technical tee. A finisher's medal would be a nice addition.

A great path with lots of shade for an August race. The water stops needed to be more frequent in the 1/2. I wish they had medals for all finishers! They were awesome medals.

Pretty good race, needs to even out water stops - too few in first half of race, too many in second half.

Weather left much to be desired, lots and lots of turns. Nice tech shirt in the race packet.

Weather was humid, 70's, and light rain, which made it quite nice. Course had its moments. Mile 1-4 was on crushed limestone. That I liked. Rest is blacktop. There were way too many turns, some quite brutal. On one occasion (mile 9ish), you turned right into a water stop w/lots of kids. Not too smart. Shirt was nice. Maroon, not white (even better). Ample water stops. It would have been a good race if it wasn't for all the turns.

I swear on ran this race on lots of residential streets and through several parks and on nice nature trails. Nice small group (1200 ish). Clouds kept temps in 70's. Well marked. Helps school nature education programs.

Good race. Hillier than you would think. Windy roads on and off trail.

Nice city course with about half on trails. Great police support. Nice finish snacks. About 1100 in the race.
