Anna Shih Wow, this is the most challenging course I've run to date! It's hot. It's hilly. The trails are tricky if you're not used to them. A personal worst time is likely. And yet you'll have a great time at this race. It's very well-organized with plentiful aid stations that have everything a runner could need (including pretzels, ice cold wet towels, and beer!). The volunteers and support are top notch. Fantastic event!

Merlin Elsner Last 5K was nearly a 27 minute 5K, I didn't want to be there, and I think I caught myself stomping my feet like a child. Stopped at all the water stations. Not a big fan of the heat, which came in ample supply that day.

Rob Slocum One of the most challenging courses, and one of the best organized races I've seen. The course was a loop over all kinds of terrain-- grass, technical trails, gravel, dirt, and even some mud. A rolling to hilly course through park trails and roads. The weather was warm and humid. Many very helpful and friendly volunteers along the course. A modified wave start helped this small race to avoid too much congestion on the trails. I also appreciated the warning at the start from the race director about the first couple of miles. It was a relief to see the finish. This was my 100th.

Victoria Slocum Wow! This was one of the most challenging half marathons we've run: hilly trails (rocks, roots, & ruts), mud, and steamy sunshine when we got out of the woods. The event was one of the best organized we've been to with lots of support and great volunteers. It was also my husband Rob's 100th half marathon!

Peter Buccos The course was a bit challenging and wet in spots from the rain overnight, but was well marked and supported. A very very well run event.
