The 2013 Kansas Half Marathon course will start and finish in beautiful downtown Lawrence at 9th & New Hampshire Streets. The USATF certified course takes runners through historic East Lawrence continuing on through The University of Kansas campus and down Clinton Parkway in West Lawrence before returning to Downtown Lawrence for the finish.

Nice, small, hilly run through the KU campus and out toward Clinton Lake/Park. Well organized; was able to pick up packet day of race, but there's no bag check so leave your stuff in your car/hotel. Nice medal/shirt/tote bag. Water stations were spaced a little further apart than I'm used to, but the nice young man at the gel station actually opened my packet for me (I must have looked like I needed it). If you have extra miles to do for a training run (as I did), the KU campus is nice, plus the parkways in the area.
