| Nice race. Enjoyed running by the lakes. great crowd support along the course. |
| |
| Beautiful course, one of the prettiest I have run. |
| |
| There was indeed a bottleneck at the first mile - runners actually had to stop completely. Still, a well-run event despite that. |
| |
| It was a nice mid-sized race. Weather worked out perfect. Start is a congestion since there are no waves and there is a bottleneck in the first mile but after that it's nice. Run by the lake is nice. Lots of water stops. |
| |
| Sunny and hot that day. They almost closed the marathon course. Pretty town. Well organized. Nice place to visit. Enjoyed the race and the town!! |
| |
| New course this year, out and back, start at capital. I liked it. It was warm. I think it would have even worked better at a 6 a.m. start to keep it cool during the whole race. |
| |
| Well organized, nice course, much of it running by the lakes and through a park. Very tough hill at mile 3.5, and there were a few other hills but overall I'd call it flat. No music on course but crowd support was good. |
| |
| Very crowded. The route was nice - It was flat, except for one short hill. |
| |
| Great race. I always like the Madison Marathon. |
| |
| Running by the lakes was cool. |
| |

| |
| Nice race. Good weather and a nice course. |
| |
| I ran this as my 8th race in a row during my worse allergy time of the year when the trees come out. This was hilly seemingly nonstop.GReat yellow medals and ribbon that matched the techno shirt.Sheraton was across the street from the expo, start and finish and they let us have late free check out. The Brats and sauerkraut afterwards are a must. |
| |
| Great Races, nice area to visit |
| |
| This was a tough course for me, hillier than I thought and I didn't make my goal time. |
| |
| Great half! |
| |
| This was a great race course, and the bamboo shirts were really cool. |
| |
| Cold and overcast, but great food at the end, plus the Brats Festival. |
| |
| A well run event and enjoyable course. Nice tech tee and medal. It was fun that race ended at the "World's Largest Brat Fest". |
| |
| Good race and Expo with the Brat Fest.
Great course |
| |
| Had an ok time. |
| |
| Good race. The course got boring and the path was narrow at times. The t-shirt and medal was really lame, but I still enjoyed the race and after race celebration. |
| |
| It was a good course |
| |
| I always like Madcity marathon. |
| |
| The race was well organized with a scenic in city course. After the race the world's biggest brat fest was held with interesting entertainment. Madison is a lovely city to visit. |
| |
| Great weather; part of world's largest bratfest. |
| |
| HOT!! |
| |
| Sure glad I wasn't running the marathon. One word: HOT! |
| |
| 2006--SOOOO hot! 95 degrees--they shut down the marathon half way through. My slowest race, but nice course, really pretty and rolling. You run along the rive for most of it. Lots of people were outside with hoses spraying us down and I think that saved me! :)Race Results: http://www.athlinks.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fClaimEntry.aspx%3fe%3d5227684%26c%3d13558&ilo=1 |

| The course was beautiful...through the campus and beside the lakes. It was hot in 2006...the marathon course was closed early due to the heat, but the half finished. |
