Formerly the Muncie Endurathon, Ironman 70.3 Muncie will be held at the Prairie Creek Reservoir in Munci, IN. Athletes will begin with a 1.2-mile swim in the calm waters of Prairie Creek Reservoir. The 56-mile bike course takes athletes onto closed state highways for a flat ride through rural Indiana. The race finishes with a challenging run around the south side of Prairie Creek Reservoir over rolling country roads.

This was an incredibly humbling race. I learned that I am not cut out for the half ironman distance! The course was rolling hills the whole way, which is really tough after 1.2 miles swimming and 56 miles biking.
